Blessed are those whom Allah has chosen to teach His exalted scripture. After the Ambiyaa (a.s.) they are the best of people. Rasulullaah (s.a.w.) has mentioned that he best of people are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it. Rasulullaah (s.a.w.) has also mentioned that the people of the Qur'an are the family of Allah and His selected people. The people of the Qur'an are those who have the Qur'an in their hearts, who recite it regularly, who contemplate over and put its teachings into practice.
I had written a booklet called Makaanatu Hif-dhil Qura'an Al-Kareem 'inda Rabbil 'Aalameen, which was published on a large scale here in Madinah Munawwarah. It contained the virtues of the Huffaadh in brief and was distributed free of charge. We now present to you a translation of this book. May Allah accept it and make it a means of benefit. May hundreds thousands of people be blessed with the bounty of being Haafidh through reading this booklet. Ameen.
