Description from the publisher:

Some Questions presented to our Noble Shaykh (may Allah Preserve Him) on Ramadhan 14th 1420 A.H.

A small excerpt from the book:

Our noble Shaykh, why have you chosen Jahr wa Ta’dīl[1]as a methodology even though many of the callers and reformists consider it the reason for the division that exists within the Ummah and leads to hatred for those who are upon this way[2] and they put forth the argument that the time of Jahr wa Ta’dīl ended with the time of codifying the narrations?

Answer:

I did not choose the methodology of Jahr wa Ta’dīl. I am a Nāqid[3]. I saw that there is an abundance of innovation, misguidance and calamities being attributed to al-Islām. So despite my weakness and inability, I began striving to the best of my ability, to remove this falsehood that is being falsely and unjustly attributed to al-Islām because of the innovation, deviation and misguidance committed by callers affiliated with Islām. Especially in this area where extremism and exaggeration (has become commonplace), in other words, it has been connected and described as being a part of al-Islām. So I have done this hoping to remove this falsehood from being ascribed to al-Islām.

It has been called condemnation and commendation or whatever it has been named. I do not condemn, I merely critique false speech and clarify with proofs and evidences its false attribution to al-Islām and its opposition to the creed and methodology of al-Islām, may Allāh bless you.
