Description from the publisher:

This series of books emphasizes the link between all the Prophets and their original teachings using the Qur'an and hadith as sources.

”It is important to realize – in an age where the majority of the world’s population do not have a clear understanding either of what Prophethood and Messengership entail, or of the fact that all of the prophets were related to each other, that all of the prophets after the Prophet Adam were descended from him, and that all of the Prophets after the Prophet Nuh were descended from him, and that all of the Prophets after the Prophet Ibrahim were descended from him, may Allah bless them and grant them peace.”

It is also important to understand that the original teachings of all the Prophets were fundamentally the same, and that it is man who has changed and redefined some of them, that today many people mistakenly believe that they have at their disposal a selection of unconnected yet equally valid religions from which they are free to choose – or not, if they so desire – according to their taste.

By gathering together, in this book, most of the ayat which describes each of the Prophets in the Glorious Qur’an – the Book that was revealed to the last of the Prophets, Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace – it is hoped that such misconception will be dispelled, and that the true nature of life’s journey will be more self-evident:

“The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord and (so do) the believers.

Each one believes in Allah and in His angels and in His books and in His messengers – we make no distinction between any of His messengers – and they say, `we hear and we obey. Grant us your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the journeying.’

Information on volume 2:

This is the sequel to Prophets in the Qur’an - Volume One. Whereas Volume One considers all the Prophet mentioned in the Qur’an from the first prophet to appear on earth, sayyedina Adam up to and including sayyedina Shu’aib, Volume two considers all the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an from sayyedina Musa up to and including sayyedina Isa, the last prophet to appear on earth before the coming of the last prophet, sayyedina Muhammad, may the blessings and the peace of Allah be on him and on all the prophets, and so all the sincere followers of all prophets. The significance of the prophet whose lives are considered in Volume two, is that probably more than half the world’s populations claims to be following sayyedina Musa, the Christians claim to be following sayyedina Isa, and the Muslims claim to be following sayyedina Muhammad, may Allah bless them and grant them peace. As in Volume One, so also Volume Two sets out to gather together all the relevant ayat concerning each of the prophets in turn, of whom Allah says: Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers, who seek to make distinctions between Allah and His Messengers, and who says, ‘We believe in some of them, but we do not believe in others, and so we seek to choose a course that lies between them, ‘these ones are in truth really disbelievers-and for the disbelievers we have prepared a humiliating punishments - but as for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers, and who do not make any distinctions between any of them, He will certainly give these ones their reward- and Allah has always been Forgiving, Compassionate.(4.15k0-152)
