Description from the publisher:
This book grew from a series of lectures that I gave to my children and to other Muslim children in my community. What I tried to do is to explain to them what Islam is and what are the important Islamic concepts. It was more of an interchange of ideas rather than formal lectures since my aim was to get them involved and to participate in the discussion. I did not want to force facts into their minds, rather I wanted them to ask questions, think, accept or reject some of what is being discussed. Through this process they can believe in the broad Islamic concepts and achieve them on conviction and then, hopefully, begin to apply these guidelines to their life.
