From the Introduction --
Translated from original Arabic, "The Magnificent Message" is a modern English translation of the Qur'an. These are divine words, which become obvious from any reading. The pure, high words of this writing are inspiring. They truly touch the heart. Explanatory notes are included. Now, finally, every aspect of the Qur'an can be understood.
About the Translator --
Dr. Kaasem Khaleel (Dr. K) is a physician, medical historian, and expert in Islamic studies. He is the author of over 25 books, including Science in the Name of God, Science and Religion, and The Words of Muhammad.
Except from the Preface:
This truly is a magnificent message. The world of Qur'an explains it all. It means recitation. This book was recited from the high heavens to the Prophet Muhammad. It is obviously an inspired book. It is obviously divine in source. There is no doubt about it, a book of divine writings from the almighty creator of the vast universe, revealing secrets about human nature that only such a high one could reveal.
This book was revealed to pagans. These pagans had no future. Then, these individuals became the leaders of civilization. The people inspired by this book became creators of all modern inspiration: even the Renaissance, and ultimately even the modern sciences, were affected.
People speak ignorantly about this writing. Yet, they have no understanding of its meaning or content. Like the original Old Testament, throughout the Qur'an there is only one purpose: the guidance of humankind.
